Latter he found the boat which led to the death of Oliver’s father in her house. After his missing, Diggle did some investigations for Oliver to find if his mother was involved. He filled in as Oliver’s mother’s driver, allowing him to follow her to various meetings. Finally, he hit the jackpot when she met with Malcolm Merlyn. There, he was able to record her saying some incriminating things that left no doubt that she was involved in something shady in Starling City. It took some time for Oliver to accept this cruel fact. We see in the end of arrow season one episode 14, Oliver went to query his mother. If you were Oliver, will you forgive your own mother? I’d like to hear your voice.
