Criminal Minds DVD Season 8 premiered on CBS on September 26, 2012. The series was officially renewed for an eighth season on March 14, 2012. Paget Brewster, who plays Emily Prentiss, would leave the show once season seven was over. All other main cast members have secured deals for this season.
